D Family

We've had lots going on lately, and on top of that we've had sickness at our house - so it took me a little longer than normal to have these pictures ready.  But now I'm way excited to share them with you - the family did a great job and I think they got lots of good pictures.
The location is Wallace State Park and there were several fun spots to take pictures.
The timing was great too - just as the sun was going down.  Made the water look great.
More of the boys to come tomorrow...

Big Group, W Family, post 2

See, I told you it was a pretty big group.  They all did a really good job cooperating.  I am loving this "family pod" look in the picture above.  The location was taken at William Jewell Campus.  I also took a more traditional one:

Big Group, W Family, part 1

I had the challenge of doing big group photography - 5 siblings, their families, parents, etc.  Before the big group, while we were still waiting for a few to arrive, I broke off and took some of just this family.  They did a great job.  Once their little girl had a flower to hold she was happy (she didn't like marshmellows!  that's our usual plan-of-attack).
I think this is just too cute - when she's in school and has to bring in a picture of herself and her parents when she was little, I hope she picks this one:
And her is one of her solo picks - also cute!
Part 2 from this photo shoot to come, stay tuned....

F Family

My first official post - I debated whether I should go back and post some of my recent photo shoots from this month and last, but I decided to just start with the present.  We had a great time photographing this fun family.  The location was Hodge Park, and they braved the walk in the heat of the day.  Taking pictures in the day is tricky, but I think we got some good shots.  This is my favorite family one:
They were a great easy-going family.  I'm sure it is because of these two:
The boys were so good!  Pictures are hard for young children, but they did amazing!
My favorites of the whole day were the individuals of the boys:
